It has been a good chance to use in a real context some of the language we have learnt in unit 1 (quantities, recipes...).

Bones!

Hi, kids!

  These are the horse bones Leire and Ainara brought to school some days ago. To tell you the truth, I had never seen a backbone and a jaw so close!


We will use these photographs when we study vertebrates in the third term.

New School Year

Hi, kids!

After a few days of school I think it is time to show the world our tree. You will have many opportunities to pick a book and spend some relaxing minutes there; and you may also take a book home with you. 

This is going to be a great year and I promise you will learn a lot if you work hard.

In a couple of days I will start to share, as I did last year, some links to web pages that could be useful to study some of the contents we learn everyday.

Natural Science: Physical changes

Hi, kids.

We are not having a lot of time these days to have our usual routine of classes. Next week will be a little more relaxed. 

In Natural Science we are studying matter, physical changes, etc. 

Have a look at the next videos for an example of some changes in matter (first you will see some physical changes and then some chemical changes at the end of the videos; you don't need to study anything about chemical changes this year).

Hola, chicos. 

Quería felicitaros por vuestro excelente trabajo en la preparación y en la representación de Matilda de esta tarde. Estamos muy orgullosos de lo que os habéis esforzado y de lo bien que lo habéis hecho. 

Tenemos por delante varias semanas hasta que acabe este trimestre y va a ser necesario un último esfuerzo para poder acabar el curso contentos y con la sensación de que habéis hecho todo lo posible por aprender y mejorar cada día. 

Os animamos a este último esfuerzo. Estamos seguros de que podréis hacerlo.
