Natural Science: body systems.

Hello, kids: 

Let's talk about some of the systems in our body. So far we have studied five: circulatory, respiratory, digestive, excretory and reproductive. 

I have found a nice video that shows how the blood is pumped by the heart inside the circulatory system. It explains some of the contents we have seen together (the size of the heart, the different vessels, etc.). 

And now, let's do some activities.

I want you to look at the next photographs and choose the right option (A or B). You can write the answers in your notebook. 

1. Can you identify the next organ? A) HEART or  B) STOMACH.

2. Can you identify the next organ? A) SMALL INTESTINE or  B) LARGE INTESTINE.

3. Can you identify the next organ? A) SMALL INTESTINE or  B) LARGE INTESTINE.

I am sure it was super easy ;)

One more thing. Can you identify the next body systems? Some of them were studied last month. You can write the answers in your notebook.

En un principio, nos vemos mañana viernes. Es la mejor forma de comenzar el fin de semana :)

Let's do some Natural Science.

Some days ago we talked about the FIVE SENSES. Today I'd like to go over this content with the next activities:

En la primera actividad tenéis que clasificar una serie de palabras según el sentido con el que las percibimos. Es parecida a lo que hicísteis con dibujos hace unos días. Si no sabéis qué significan algunas de las palabras, no os preocupéis (aunque un diccionario o Google pueden echaros una mano). 

1. Fill in the appropriate group with the right word.

En la siguiente actividad, no es necesario copiar los dibujos, tan solo las frases y completarlas con los verbos que aparecen arriba. 

2. Use the right verb for each sentence.

Bueno, ya está bien de escribir. 

En la siguiente actividad, os invito a repasar cómo se escriben en inglés algunas partes del cuerpo.

4. Para terminar, me gustaría que prestarais atención a la siguiente imagen y me respondierais a esta pregunta: Which one is tallest?  The first, the second, the third?

Tened en cuenta que a veces nuestros sentidos nos engañan... Explicaremos esto en clase :)
