Social Science: Roman legacy

Hi, kids!

We have just finished our wonderful unit about Ancient History. You have learnt a lot about Phoenicians, Carthaginians and of course about the Roman Empire. The Roman civilization built lots of structures in Hispania (the Iberian Peninsula during the Roman Empire).

In the video below, you can see some of those bridges, walls and aqueducts built by them.

Have a look and enjoy.

See you on Monday ;)

Social Science: Prehistory

Welcome back, kids!

Remember that our first unit in Social Science is going to be Prehistory (unit 5 in your books). We are going to learn a lot of things about that period of History on the Iberian Peninsula. But first, we should go over some aspects of Prehistory we studied last year.

Have a look at the next videos to get ready for this unit.

See you tomorrow ;)

Social Science: Museo del Prado.

Hi, kids!

I know you are studying very hard for our next tests, so I think you can take a break.

Have a look at the next video and discover the most important museum in Spain: Museo del Prado. This museum is celebrating its 200th anniversary.

You will see lots of wonderful paintings. And remember that paintings are a good example of visual sources when we study History ;)

Take care.
