Despedida y recomendaciones verano

Hola chicos! El tiempo pasa, hemos estado dos cursos juntos en los que hemos vivido muchas experiencias.

Hemos aprendido mucho de vosotros nos ha encantado compartir clases, recreos, actividades, albergues, teletrabajo y un largo etcétera de momentos y situaciones. Esperamos que vosotros también lo hayáis disfrutado.

Empezamos una nueva etapa, nos seguiremos viendo por el cole, pero ya no seremos vuestros profes, así que podemos hablar y contarnos cosas sin un examen ni una nota de por medio. ¡Eso también está muy bien!

Quiero que sepáis que contáis con nosotros para lo que necesitéis.
¡Nos ha encantado poder veros estos días en la videollamada y la entrega de notas!

ACTIVIDADES PARA REALIZAR EN LAS VACACIONES DE VERANO (áreas en inglés).

Estimadas familias:

Después de un cuarto curso muy intenso lo fundamental es descansar, dedicar tiempo a otras actividades y disfrutar de aficiones que tal vez hemos tenido algo desatendidas. Este año de un modo especial, las vacaciones deberían ofrecer oportunidades para desconectar y descansar, ya que no ha sido nada fácil llegar al final del presente curso.

Muchas de las tareas que recomiendo cada verano, ya sean canales de youtube o páginas web con juegos, han ido apareciendo en mi blog en estos tres meses de trabajo desde casa. Aun así, os señalo algunas páginas en las que hay de todo (vídeos, audiciones, actividades, juegos) y es fácil encontrar actividades de repaso de vocabulario, gramática, etc.

En cuanto a Ciencias Naturales y Ciencias Sociales, las distintas unidades aparecerán en los próximos cursos y será posible llevar a cabo un repaso de los temas fundamentales antes de iniciar nuevos aprendizajes. De todos modos, hay alguna que otra página web que puede ayudar a hacer un recorrido por algunos contenidos de un modo más entretenido. También hay opciones para aprender algo más sobre Arte.

4. La siguiente web recoge 101 visitas virtuales a museos de ciencias, galerías de arte, reservas de fauna, yacimientos arqueológicos, recorridos por monumentos del mundo, etc. Podríais visitar uno de esos 101 lugares cada día de las vacaciones y aún os quedarían varios por ver. Merece la pena.

5. A nivel de fauna, geografía y ciencia, creo que la web de National Geographic aun tiene muchas opciones que tal vez no hemos aprovechado lo suficiente:

A pesar de que son actividades que ya hemos realizado, en mi blog podéis acceder a lo propuesto en mis tres áreas a través de las pestañas y mediante el buscador. Os recuerdo el enlace: https://ramonenglishteacher.blogspot.com/

 Mi intención es que cada alumno pueda realizar algún tipo de tarea escolar al margen de los recursos. Si alguien no tiene acceso a internet, o simplemente le parece una buena opción, un repaso a los diferentes temas en los libros de texto de Ciencias o en nuestros esquemas puede ayudar a no olvidar ciertos contenidos. En el libro de inglés (NEW HIGH FIVE! 4) las páginas finales ofrecen un resumen de los contenidos léxicos y gramaticales del año que puede resultar interesante.

Por otra parte, alguna familia me ha comentado su intención de un cuaderno de vacaciones. Todos pueden ser válidos, pero el de la editorial Macmillan tiene contenidos relacionados con lo que hemos visto este año.

Hello, everyone!

How are you today? I'm fine. Thanks for asking :)

Let's do some Natural Science today: this is the last post, so I think we could do some review activities about some of the contents we have learnt this year. Are you ready?

1. We studied a lot of interesting things about the human body on the first term. Let's see if you can classify the next organs: 

ovary, lung, artery, bronchi, penis, trachea, vein, alveoli, heart, testicle, uterus.

Good morning, children:

It's Tuesday and we have to do some English. Some days ago we talked about Italy, then Mexico and today we are going to learn some interesting facts about England. 

If you have a look at PB page 100 you can read some information about what England is famous for. You can also listen to it on the link below (or Navio).

Good morning, little friends:

Welcome to a new week, the last week! In five days you will be starting your summer holidays, isn't it great? 

Today we have to do some Social Science. Since it is the last session I thought we could do some activities to go over some of the contents we have studied this year, so this is going to be a very varied post :) 

1. Let's start with some History. Could you write in chronological order the next historical periods?

HISTORICAL PERIODS: THE MODERN AGE, THE METAL AGES, THE STONE AGE, ANCIENT HISTORY, THE CONTEMPORARY AGE, THE MIDDLE AGES.

Fin de semana 13-14 de junio de 2020

Buenos días, amigos: 

Esta es la última entrada de fin de semana que tendremos en el blog. El próximo viernes acabamos el curso y es bueno que comencemos a buscar nuevas actividades y ocupaciones lejos de este blog que ha sido nuestra escuela virtual durante estos meses. 

Hoy os propongo algo diferente. En el mundo de las apps y de los juegos para móviles estáis mucho más al día que yo. De hecho creo que este es el primer juego que instalo. Se trata de una app protagonizada por Yeti, un pies grandes que nos acompaña en una expedición por el Himalaya. Si recorréis las montañas más altas del mundo con él, podréis aprender algunas cosas sobre el Everest. Creo que es interesante.

Es una aplicación gratuita que podéis instalar en móviles y tablets.

En medio de esas montañas nevadas es posible encontrar animales. Tal vez os sorprenda algunas de las especies que podemos allí.
