Good
morning, everyone!
What
about some Natural Science? There
are a few things I want you to do today.
FIRST.
Do
these two activities. You can write them down in your notebook. They are very
easy.
Classify the next elements. Are they SOLID, LIQUID or
GAS?
BREAD, MILK, OXYGEN, VAPOUR, BLOOD, GLASS, WATER,
HAILSTONE, SNOWFLAKE, CARBON DIOXIDE
SOLID
|
LIQUID
|
GAS
|
Complete the next texts with the next words:
amount,
level, cylinder, space, higher, scale, grams, litres,

Mass is the _________ of matter something contains. For
example, a watermelon has more matter than a lemon. This means it has a _________
mass. A computer has a higher mass than a piece of paper. You can use a balance
or a _______ to find the mass of an object. They will tell you the mass of the objects
in _________ (g) and kilograms (kg).
Volume is the amount of __________ an object occupies. To
measure the volumen of an object of any shape, first put water in a measuring
cup or ___________. Measure the water _________. Then put an object into the
cup. Measure the water level again. Subtratc the new measurement from the first
one. This gives you the object’s volumen in millilitres (ml) or _________ (l).
SECOND.
Watch the next video very slowly and paying attention. It
is a bit longer than usual, but it goes over some interesting contents: mass,
volumen, density…
THIRD.
Try to do this interactive worksheet about materials (as
you did yesterday with the Future worksheet).
